Identity Crisis

The Mr. and I were out to dinner and in the midst of the conversation; it takes a frightening turn...

Mr.: You know that picture of me and one of the boys on your blog?
Me: Which one?
Mr.: It's me and one of the boys and he's a baby asleep. It's probably my favorite picture and I really like how you changed it to black and white.
Me: What are you talking about?
Mr.: My hair is longer and my beard was pretty full and I'm holding a sleeping baby. I want to have that picture copied to black and white and framed. It's an awesome picture.
Me: I have no clue what you're talking about.
Mr.: Sigh. It's on your blog! Never mind, when we get home I'll go through our pictures and find it.
Me: Wait a minute, it's a man with longish hair and a beard holding a sleeping infant?
Mr: Yeah! I want to frame that this weekend and put a copy in my locker at work. I love that picture.
Me: OK. But it's not you.
Mr: What?
Me: It's not you. I got it from Google Images.
Mr. Hmm. I was sure that was me.

I'm scared.

I knew exactly where you were going when I saw that picture..that's why we love Dean!!
You know that one of me taken on the beach with my long hair blowing in the wind where I have on that awesome bathing suit and I look so tall and suntanned and look so much like Christie Brinkley? Would you print that one up for me? It's hard to find such a good picture of myself in a bathing suit!! :)
OK, to be fair, at a quick glance, that could resemble Dean, but no matter how long you glanced at a picture of Christie Brinkley you'd never mistake her for me!

Your post made me laugh. Then I read all the comments and laughed even harder.

I have a magazine ad for some medicine or something with a photo of a guy in a hospital gown, sitting on the edge of the hospital bed. It's taken from behind and looks exactly like my husband. In fact --it looks so much like him that my stepdaughter was convinced that he had landed a modeling job. ha!

If i had a picture from the back... it would have to say Wide Load!

but I have better lips than Angelina Jolie!

That was so cute... He must have thought that you had taken a picture of him and one of the boyz sleeping one day... How sad.... You must have some sort of picture of him cuddling with one of the boyz that you could copy in black and white for him and print for the poor mans locker...

You could always "photoshop" and "cut and paste" the Mr's head onto this guy's head and print him a copy. Go ahead, he'll never know the difference!

Just for grins, you should get it copied and present it to him as a (gag) gift :)
