My friend was telling a story about her childhood and it was so grand I had to repeat. If only I'd heard this principle of discipline seventeen or so years ago....Dee's dad would spank them with a paddle. Every time a child got a spanking, a mark was recorded. At the end of the month, whomever had the most marks got a bonus whack for good measure!

I think this is a grand idea!! and what incentive for competition between siblings! :) Yep, I spanked mine too...but whine and cajole like heck to keep my daughter from spanking JB...:)
