Hair apparent~

1.  This is my senior picture; 1985.
2.  On my way home from work yesterday, I stopped at the drug store and spotted sponge rollers.
3.  Sleeping on sponge rollers every night was how I achieved the look on the left.
4.  Yup, I bought me some sponge rollers.
5.  Apparently, one loses one's ability to sleep on sponge rollers with age.
6.  My hair is frighteningly large.
7.  I love it.
8.  I can't go out in public looking like this.
9.  I do not look like I have fabulously spiral curled hair.
10.  I look like an old fat chick who hasn't updated her hair.
11.  I love big hair and I cannot lie.

I love the "new" look, and of course you can go out in public, more people should use sponge rollers!

I would look like a walking hair ball of fuzz if I used sponge rollers! Oh, and an old fat chick! LOL.

I are an old fat chick and I decided to let my hair grow, because it has curl to it and I was curious as to how I would look. I had visions of being this young-looking thing with wildly untame-able hair that would just float around my face. Hah. Yeah right. What possessed me to do this is beyond me and after a year (yes, ONE WHOLE YEAR) of having said hair, my husband took me to the beauty shop for what he assumed was just a trim. All this time, he had said little about how I looked and he even took me out in public with him. Brave & courageous man he is. Any way, I entered the shop and he stayed in the car. After about 40 minutes I was ready to leave. Feeling ever so much lighter I did. I got into the car and he said "Now that's a hair cut! You look really good!" And that was the end of my year-long forage into the past. The end.
